The thin disk laser company
The disk laser was invented more than 20 years ago by one of our founders Dr. Adolf Giesen and his coworkers at University of Stuttgart.
From the very beginning, the further development of the disc laser concept and its possibilities has been a core task for Dausinger + Giesen GmbH. This has been achieved through numerous collaborations and research projects. Several patents have also been devised and registered as market-ready.
