Management Team

Since 2018 the Management Team consists out of 4 people

  • Andrea Geiger, CFO
  • Dr. Mikhail Larionov, CTO
  • Dr. Jörg Neuhaus, COO
  • Johannes Trbola, CEO
Andrea Geiger

Andrea Geiger studied geography at Technical University of Munich and Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen where she graduated as Dipl. Geogr.

She worked in the administration of the Zentrum Fertigungstechnik Stuttgart (ZFS) nearly 15 Years until closing in 2004.

Since the foundation of Dausinger Giesen GmbH 2007 she joined in this new company. In the time of the foundation she was working as CEO and when nthe company was structured in 2008 she became manager for the administration, especially human resources (CHRO) and finances (CFO)

Dr. Mikhail Larionov

Mikhail Larionov studied solid state physics at Technical University of Saint Petersburg. In his thesis and the following PhD he investigated processes in semiconductors in a fast-changing strong electrical field and worked on development of powerful high-voltage pulse generators based on this technology.

He has aborted this PhD due to emigration to Germany, where he started a new PhD at the University of Stuttgart in the group of Dr. Giesen, developing thin-disk lasers. He was responsible for development and manufacturing of the mounted laser disks, which is the key technology for any thin-disk-laser.

During his PhD he executed and leaded several scientific projects. One of the projects finalized in building of a laser for measurements under microgravity conditions during free-fall in the drop tower in Bremen.

His work at the university institute continued in the company Dausinger+Giesen founded by Dr. Giesen and Dr. Dausinger, who left the institute at that time. In the company he has a position of CTO making use and improving his skills in the amazing field of laser technology and management.

Dr. Jörg Neuhaus

Jörg Neuhaus studied physics at Muenster University, California State University, Long Beach CSULB and Munich University, where he completed his diploma thesis in 2005 at the center for biomolecular optics in the area of femtosecond spectroscopy. During his PhD thesis, which he finished in 2009 with distinction, Joerg studied and did research in novel mode-locked laser oscillators at the center of applied photonics (CAP) at Konstanz University in cooperation with TRUMPF Laser GmbH & Co KG, Schramberg .

During his scientific career Joerg has authored several scientific papers with hundreds of citations. Always having had a keen interest in interdisciplinary fields, he obtained additional skills in business administration and intellectual property law, while studying at Hagen University and working as a patent attorney trainee.

Joerg, now COO,  is working at D+G since 2012 as a project manager, researcher, sales director and legal consultant.

Johannes Trbola

Johannes Trbola studied mechanical engineering @ RWTH Aachen. He was working as student worker @ Fraunhofer ILT and graduated as Dipl. Ing. in mechanical engineering at the Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen. The topic of his diploma thesis was the planning of laser installations for surface technologies.

He started his professional career in TRUMPF Lasertechnik GmbH, Ditzingen in marketing and sales. After working for TRUMPF he started to support companies with marketing and sales services to develop brands and certain market segments -alwys in connection with industrial lasers and their applications.

In 2016 Johannes Trbola joined Dausinger + Giesen GmbH as shareholder and general manager (CEO).
